The RMS Titanic met her unfortunate fate against iceberg in April of 1912. There were total of seven hundred and six survivors who survived but over 1,500 were lost to the sea in one night. This was one of the saddest strategies of that time and people after 100 years still remembers those who survived and those who didn’t.
Passengers were divided in three classes and only less than one fourth of third-class passengers survived. Bellow you can see statistics about third class passengers:
